Our Mission

The African American Interpretive Center of Minnesota (AAICM) is dedicated to sharing Black Minnesota history through exhibition and events.

We examine the history, stories and legacies of Black Minnesotans in order to fairly represent the contribution that this community has made to Minnesota society. Through our work, we hope to help the public understand the multiple layers of Black identity in Minnesota.
