Jokeda "JoJo" Bell
PRESIDENT
JoJo Bell founded AAICM in 2016 with the desire to share Black MN history state-wide. She holds an M.A. in Liberal Arts and has published pieces in publications like the Minnesota Women’s Press. She is currently writing a book under contract with the Minnesota Historical Society Press.

Aggie Ofori-Amanfo
VICE PRESIDENT
Aggie Ofori-Amanfo wears many hats in the marketing and communication world and is recognized as a public relations and digital marketing consultant, digital program manager, fashion blogger, and journalist. Prior to receiving her Bachelor degree majoring in Advertising & Public Relations from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln in 2016, Aggie launched her own public relations and marketing firm in 2015- Aggie PR Consulting & Digital Marketing.

Jeremiah Ellis
SECRETARY
Noting kindred interests in Minnesota's African American History, Jeremiah partnered with AAICM on oral and public history projects. In conjunction with the Sterling Club's centennial celebration, Jeremiah authored St. Paul's Distinct Leadership Tradition: A Century of The Sterling Club, which Ramsey County History Magazine published in 2019. Jeremiah's passion for AAICM's mission stems from his six generations of Minnesota ancestors.
